Say hi to Merel Sanders, the person behind the super inspiring Instagram account @liefstehuisje. Merel is based in the Netherlands, and her house is full of atmosphere and cosiness. ALees meernd lot’s of pastel colours!

My wallpaper collection
I love to be creative in my own house and like to change the rooms regularly. For example, the walls are often given a new color or a new wallpaper. It is really a hobby of mine to give our house a unique and cozy atmosphere.
In my own Photowall collection I went for soft pastel colors. The wallpapers I have chosen for is mainly light and brings peace to the house. They are calm colors that fit well in the bedroom, nursery and living room. By applying a wallpaper in a room, the room immediately gets more personal and you have a nice result in a short time. In my collection I have also chosen a few kids rooms friendly wallpapers. My oldest son loves dinosaurs, and I found the perfect wallpaper for him - wallpaper with dino’s in pastel colors (still really cool!).

About me
My name is Merel Sanders and I live with my boyfriend and our two sons in a small village close to the oldest city in the Netherlands. In daily life I work as a teacher and student coordinator at a school. I get my inspiration from Instagram, shops, restaurants and Pinterest. I really like pastel colors and they can be found a lot in my own home.
